Full Mouth Reconstruction

In situations where you have worn away your teeth, it is possible to reconstruct your mouth with a combination of crown, bridges, veneers, and implant restoration. The new restorations are designed and based on your unique jaw movements as recoded and programmed onto a highly adjustable articulator (a device that simulates your unique jaw movements when making your new teeth).

Once the work has been completed, you will experience a long term result that looks great, feels wonderful, and functions like a well-oiled machine as the new teeth are designed to work in perfect harmony with your jaw joints. You will also be able to avoid all the negative changes (severe bone loss, loss of chewing function, pain on chewing…) that occur when teeth are removed and dentures are placed. You can regain the ability to eat virtually anything and will be able to smile with confidence, knowing that your teeth appear natural and the appearance of your face will be preserved.

How long does it take?

The length of treatment depends on the extent of the reconstruction and whether other dental specialists are involved in the treatment. In most straightforward cases, the full-mouth reconstruction can be completed over a 5-6 months.

Denture

Complete denture:

If you have lost all your natural teeth, whether from periodontal disease, tooth decay or injury, complete dentures can replace your missing teeth and your smile. Natural teeth and the underlying bone provide a framework that supports the structures of your face including your lips, cheeks and nose. When teeth are lost, the face will sag creating a look of premature aging. You also can not speak clearly and distinctly.

Dr. Shayestehfar as a trained prosthodontist personally sets your denture teeth, verses commercial labs that never meet the patient. This way Dr. shayestehfar can fabricate dentures that look and feel natural.

Removable partial dentures:

A removable partial denture is used when there are still natural teeth left. Removable partial dentures usually consist of artificial teeth attached to pink or gum-colored plastic based, which are connected by metal framework. Removable partial dentures attach to your natural teeth with either metal clasps or devices call precision attachments. Precision attachments are more esthetic than metal clasps since they are invisible. Crowns on your natural teeth may improve the fit of a removable partial denture and they are usually required with attachments.
